Ribbon cable headers are commonly used with VME compatible hardware. Ribbon cable is difficult to connect to other hardware, especially if multiple destinations are involved. The DINterm64 converts from 64 pin ribbon cable to a 64 pin terminal strip. Discrete wires are easily connected with the screw locks on the terminal strip.

The DINterm64 provides a space efficient, low cost method of interconnecting the control electronics to the rest of the sensors, IO, machinery etc.

The DINterm64 comes with one 64 pin header connector and one 64 position screw terminal strip. The discrete wires are installed from the side, and the lock is accessable from the top for ease of use. The screw terminals can be used as testpoints. DINterm64 comes standard with DIN rail mounts for ease of use in VME and other environments.

The ribbon cable connector is routed 1:1 to the screw terminal connector. Row A1-32 of the header are on the pins 33-64 - front lower row of the terminal strip. Row C1-32 are on pins 1-32 - rear upper row of the terminal strip.

DINterm64 is compatible with the PCI2PMC, PCIBPMC , PCIBPMCX2 , PCIeBPMCX2 , PCIe8LXMCX1, PCIe8LXMCX2 family of PMC carriers as well as third party carriers and systems.

The DINterm64-ENG version is available with the 64 pin cable connector and 64 pin header strip and without the plastic, DIN rails and screw terminals for test and engineering environments.
